Your gonna have to see a carbon fiber customization specialist. Those parts arent ready to order items. Search google.

What is this car being used for that it has to be "light as hell" without gutting it? Seems like a huge waste of time and money, but it's yours, not mine.

I could most likely get a couple sponsors that'll pay for it, that's why. I'm trying to have a car this car get 25-30 miles to the gallon and still be fast. I have my ways.

My KA-T with full interior and stock body panels got that mileage, all you need is a good tune. Out of curiosity, what would these sponsors be getting out of this deal? Are you doing any racing/drift events? Shows? If it is just a street car, good luck with the sponsor thing.

After every things in tack it will be drifting and im pretty damn sure i could get it into some of the bigger car shows. If you can get that with a stock ka24 then just think what i can get with a good tune and having the car 2/3s of the weight it use to be. have faith

I'm not doubting that gas mileage would improve with less weight, I just don't see the point. Are you trying to save fuel to save money? Are you doing it just to say you got mad good gas mileage? By the way, it will not be 2/3s of the original weight. Carbon fiber body panels will not save 900 lbs. You will not get 25-30 mpg driving it hard, either, no matter how light you make it. Don't get me wrong, and full carbon fiber body would be super cool, but I just don't see the point in this case, sorry. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Have you tried checking out Kognition Designs? I know they do a lot of custom Carbon Fiber.

OP, do you really want to spend 6-10 thousand on CF body panels, when you could remove the rear seats, carpet, sound deadening, and rear plastics and save similar weight???? Your better off just buying aluminum suspension arms, remove a/c, super light wheels, titanium exhaust, lightweight one piece driveshaft, etc... There are alot of other things a person should spend their money on in this world. A CF s13, though being pretty cool, would be a complete waste of time if you are going to ever drift it or drive it. Drifting a carbon fiber car, that just sounds like too much money to spend over and over again. Drifting means hitting cones, rubber flying off the rear tires into your CF panels, and god forbid you dont know how to drive and you slide into a wall or something with your 6-10 thousand dollar CF body. Just seems like an absolute waste to me. Good luck though.

You'll be kicking yourself if you ever hit it and you have to repair a patch of CF.

If you put it on the qp's you'd just add weight. I also dont think many companies would want to sponsor a car with a $10,000 carbon fiber body that is going to be drifting. "Oh noes he hit that wall, oh well another 10 grand"

My brother and I talked about this idea 3 years ago when I first bought my S13 hatch. Seibon is willing to make parts, but it'll cost a pretty penny. For the readily made parts (doors, front fenders, hood, qp covers, and body kit), it was already ridiculously priced. Let alone all the other s*** you're going to have to buy to make it worth looking at. If I remember correctly, Seibon built a full carbon S14. Roof and all. I'm pretty sure it was in Super Street 2 or 3 years ago.

this was probably the biggest waste of time ever. if you think you will get 35mpg under load your out of your f***ing mind. if you think someone will sponsor you, well your probably wrong. this wont happen. not for you at least. i can tell your one of those kids who hypes up about doing something and knows they will never really do it. if your going to post something then at least be serious about it...
