im picking up a new carbon fiber hood in a few weeks but never actually installed one i do have one question i know its not a good one but i was wondering do the carbon fiber hoods come with the holes already drilled for the windshield washers???? like i said lame question but any help would be greatly appreciated!! :chuckle:

i'm pretty sure they do. i've never heard of anyone having to drill those holes out. make sure you get hood pins of some sort, though (those will need to be drilled out).

Yes definitely install hood pins WHEN you install the hood. DON'T WAIT. I have known 2 people locally who's hoods have popped up destroying their hood, roof, and windshield. Not to mention, endangering their life all because they skimped out on hood pins. I've even seen a case with a stock hood doing that too, lol.

thanks for the help guys decided to buy an oem carbon fiber hood no vents lol still looks great and i did buy hood pins deffinatly dont want the hood to get wrecked lol
