hello everybody ive been a member of nico for years now but have only had z32s.. i recently purchased a 2007 350z touring and have been doing minor modifications since i have had it like seibon hood, topspeed pro1 exhaust, takeda intakes, window tint, and varrsoten wheels... i just got a carbon creations vader 2 carbon fiber wing that i believe is a veilside replica n i am wondering if anybody has any experience installing the wing??? the wing has two bolts that screw right into it but it also came with two aditional bolts with washers and two self tapping looking screws.. i am very confused and would like to install the wing myself n not have to take it to a shop to have it installed.. also it looks like it wont bolt up to the factory spoilers mounting points (which is what i was hoping would work) any help would be greatly appreciated thank you very much!!!

I'm checking around, I think there was someone on NICO that maybe worked for Extreme Dimensions/Carbon Creations.

Just guessing, but based on the way the wing is shaped it uses the stock mounting holes on the centre decklid, but because of the wraparound portion you need to make some new holes to keep the edges down/flush. Like I said, just a guess.

I'll keep checking around though.

thank you for the help checking around!! the thing thats confusing me is the mount bolts on the wing look like they bolt on to where the decklid contours down to the rear bumper cover, but the stock spoiler is on the upper part closer to the rear window so im guessing the mount points would be a few inches off... i also bought some of this 3m vhb double sided tape. its supposed to be for the outdoors n said to be super strong and durable, i was thinking about using it on the edges that dont have holes or any way to mount because it does only have the two points. its a foam type tape so i figure it would help with rubbing that may occur and maybe give it a more oem kinda fit.. ill try n post pictures asap to better explain.. thank you for the response.

i removed the stock spoiler n got all the double sided tape scrubbed off n for the dry fit of the carbon creations wing, and... well.... it didnt fit. everything lines up great but the passenger side above the tail light is raised about an inch off of the hatch where it is supposed to sit and is very obviously disfigured especially compared to the driver side which fits perfectly. guess it took seeing it on the car to figure it out :(
