Carbon fiber panels added to the bottom of a full body kit? That's as rice as it comes in my book.

Tell everyone about how you lost the cop because of your "driving skills."

True story:

I rented a Pontiac G6 (Enterprise) when I visited my bro in D.C. last summer. I toasted by a cop doing 85 in a 60. Gunned it, jinked in and out of traffic until I found an offramp. Jumped through traffic and found a gas station, bolted inside, bought a coke. Came out, smoked a cigarette, and made my way to the onramp. I came onto the highway and right behind me was an identical black G6. He ramped it up to 70. I stayed back but in sight at just over the speed limit. He got pulled over. A mile later I was doing 100mph again. 'Twas funny.

Another true story:

My beater 95 Altima and I were running 80mph through the NW Arkansas Area and I passed a cop. I jumped it up to 120 and found an offramp.

Awww yeah. That's rice, sheeeit.

Stupid is what it was.

Dude...basically, think of this car as a Buick. Would you put carbon fiber all over a Regal? Hells no.

If carbon fiber saves weight, then sweet, go for it. For example, certain hatchbacks. Lexan instead of glass and a carbon hatch will save a decent amount of weight on a 300zx, so people that track their cars might consider it (if they have the cash). But at the same time, a carbon fiber hood is actually heavier than the stock aluminum hood, so just because it's carbon, doesn't mean it's lighter.

If you're tacking on a bunch of random carbon parts, it will look like 10 lbs of **** in a 5 lb bag. Maybe start playing GT4 or Forza instead of Need For Speed Underground/Carbon?

Buick. Not Civic, not Neon, not drifter

I have another idea. I was thinking of taking the chrome rocker panels from the new Lexus Gs, and placing them on the J. Would that look nice?

-- Dude, decide for yourself what looks nice to you, and run with it. It's called forming an opinion. My taste would gravitate away from tacking on meaningless carbon junk that makes your car heavier than it already is, doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of carbon fiber in the first place? But if you like it, that's cool with me too. I might flame you a bit, but hey, no love lost.

-- Rather negative post me thinks. There's plenty of kids his age with crap dd's, like an old escort or festiva thats ACTUALLY worth 50 bux and they are thankful. With the prices of metals going higher and higher, I really don't think a J will ever be worth less than at least a few hundred bux, who knows in 10 years the aluminum from the block alone might be worth a a few hundy. So, why can't you keep your J? Dontcha know quitters never win?

I actually made my own "decal" I just typed the words "www.nicoclub.com and Infiniti and nissan car owners" and folded the paper in half, so it looked nice and put it on top of the third break light. pics will come soon

Like Yoda, I used to be that kid too!!! I did some things to past cars that could be construed as questionable styling details. I also wasted quite a bit of $$$. At trade in time, my car wasn't worth as much as stock vehicle of the same make, model and year. I was really disappointed. Basically that dealer (and others) where telling me that they didn't dig my cars style; they would have a hard time moving that car(which they did, it hung out at the dealer for 3-4 months and then disappeared one day, off to another dealer). The way I look at it is if you like it, its all that should matter. No need to go out and seek the approval of others.

I agree.

Back in 76 I had a Ford Pinto with a bored out engine, and rear tires that stuck out about 10 inches from the wheel well.I was all that and a box of chips !!! lol

93 Grand Am that I had vent visors over my windows ...

94 Cutlass I had a K&N , glass pack exhaust, and threw the 18's from my Spyder on it for a while....

I had a 97 dakota 4x4 V8 that I made the "dryer vent" K&N intake and exhaust....

the spyder that had the venom adjustable air meter, painted fog light surrounds, more speakers than the car needed, k&N intake, stillen exhaust, etc, etc....

so before my J....I had plenty of bad add-on choices, and a few good ones, but like discussed by the last few...I think all of us have had our times

There is no point to carbon, unless you have an F1 car, or something similar...

Personally the only thing I'd put in the body of my J, is the JDM J.Ferie Front Lip, which I've heard that an S14 front lip will fit too.

Which 240sx? The Zenki or Kohuki? (cant spell).Im looking at the J.Ferie, and did the JDM models come with headlight washers? Because if you look on the front bumper in that pics, I see little bumps.
