Carbon fiber panels added to the bottom of a full body kit? That's as rice as it comes in my book.naladude911 wrote:i thought taht wasnt ricy
i meant a small lip...not 4 inches of extra plastic...definately too ricey but u get the idea and applaud your persistence...naladude911 wrote:i thought taht wasnt ricy
-- Dude, decide for yourself what looks nice to you, and run with it. It's called forming an opinion. My taste would gravitate away from tacking on meaningless carbon junk that makes your car heavier than it already is, doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of carbon fiber in the first place? But if you like it, that's cool with me too. I might flame you a bit, but hey, no love lost.naladude911 wrote: So, umm would they look nice?

-- Rather negative post me thinks. There's plenty of kids his age with crap dd's, like an old escort or festiva thats ACTUALLY worth 50 bux and they are thankful. With the prices of metals going higher and higher, I really don't think a J will ever be worth less than at least a few hundred bux, who knows in 10 years the aluminum from the block alone might be worth a a few hundy. So, why can't you keep your J? Dontcha know quitters never win?nkawall wrote:lolin ten years your j's gonna be worth about 50$. im gettin rid of mine by the end of the summer...as much as i love it and wanna keep it in my garage like a big a$$ souvenir i cant .

Like Yoda, I used to be that kid too!!! I did some things to past cars that could be construed as questionable styling details. I also wasted quite a bit of $$$. At trade in time, my car wasn't worth as much as stock vehicle of the same make, model and year. I was really disappointed. Basically that dealer (and others) where telling me that they didn't dig my cars style; they would have a hard time moving that car(which they did, it hung out at the dealer for 3-4 months and then disappeared one day, off to another dealer). The way I look at it is if you like it, its all that should matter. No need to go out and seek the approval of others.yodawill2000 wrote:
