Does anyone think that carbon buildup in the combustion chamber could cause compression to be at 200-165-155-195?I just put my second sr20det in and did a comp test and was like holy shiznit! way above stock. Im trying to figure out if this was a de motor and has to low cylinders or is it something else. Suggestions?:help

yes. you moght want to run some injector or valve cleaner in the engine for a while but then again I would do some more investigating first. Your rings or your valves might be causing your compression problems.

Try some SeaFoam instead of regular fuel injector cleaner. It works better!

Higher than normal cylinder pressures can only be caused by carbon biuld up. I would run Top Engine Cleaner through it to remove the carbon. Injector cleaner wont work and I dont know anything about the Seafoam products. When running the top engine cleaner through the engine rods can be bent if done incorrectly. Not for the faint of heart. You are effectively running a liquid into the cylinders with the engine running. Be careful!!
