Anyone converted to sidedrafts yet?
Here is my real question to every one. Im building a road race/autoX motor (91 240sx). The thing is because the car is so versitile I cant really go for an all out "road race" motor, because it wont suit my Auto X needs (this situation is visa versa). So, my question(s) are this:Consider Ive done the piston conversion into my DE1: can I run NO emissions, vaccum crap, IACC (or whatever) and still tune the vehicle to run a decent idle2: Will the PDM cams be mild enough to run with the piston change?3: Does the injectors on the KA run off of distributor impulse?4: Will a S-AFC suit my stoich tunablity needs, or do I HAVE to run a stand alone (FAST system)5:Will timing changes throw off the S13 ECU?6: How dependant is the engine of the ECU?
Im essentially trying to take the preprogramed settings out of the ECU, and leave them up to me. All I want the ECU to do is run the settings I tell it to, THATS IT. From previous experience with OBD 1 systems, Ive found when adjusting engine messurments, the computer will change them back to stock..IS this true with the S13 ECU?Thanks for your help in advance
