Would anyone know of, or has anyone heard of a place that makes a Carburator adapter plate for the SR20DE? I could have one made but i'd be looking around.. well.. a sh*tton of money so i'm curious if anyone's ever heard of one bieng manufactured.

and please don't give me any responces like "omfg carbs you = stupid blah blah".. :P

I believe there is a bit more to it than fitting a carb onto a fuel injected manifold.

The runners are much longer with EFI and this will cause problems with fuel condensing onto the inside walls which could cause all sorts of jetting problems.

I was thinking of doing the same thing with a KA engine that I was installing in a carburetted pick-up. Eventually I gave up the idea and spent a **** load of money on getting the EFI to work. I don't regret the decision.

I'm sure you could probably get it to work but whether you will be happy with the performance is another question.

oh yeh, i'm aware there's a lot more to it than just a mani and slapping on some carbs, but i figure it'd be a good place to start since it's a rather essential part of the whole system if there aren't any in existance yet, i might just go out and have some made, oooor try something different all together.. just trying to see if it's been done yet

never heard of anyone carbing a sr20. i imagine it would be kind of difficult because the intake ports are not a flat surface(allowing two two barrel carbs). you might be best off building a short straigh tunnell ram style manifold with a forward mounted four barrel.
