Can you describe the events during the restart process? How did the car finally start?

Manual or Auto? If manual, would a rolling push/pop clutch 2gear have worked?

Any codes or CEL/MIL?

I've had the same problem a few times, I took it into the dealer and they couldn't find anything. So I'm definitely interested in finding out why its doing this too

I have a 2004 base model, I worked for Nissan for a while and never seen problems with 350's, I talked to my boy I think it might be something to do with the cam and or crank sensors. I like to hear more opinions, and I'll keep you guys updated

In total I think it happened to me about 4-5 times over about a year, but knock on wood it hasn't happened in about 6-8 months. I cant really remember any patterns in weather or anything like that, it just seemed to be random occurrences. Basically mine would just crank and crank, and it just seemed like it wasnt getting fuel or spark. Then I'd let it sit for about 10 min and it would start right up like nothing happened. There was one time where my check engine light came on but at the time it seemed unrelated to this problem, I took it to Advanced Auto and had them check it.. I think she said it had something to do with the octane (I ALWAYS use top grade), I put some additive in the tank and it seemed to solve the check engine light. So who knows if that is even related to this problem...
