Hey Guys,
So I have a 96 S14, and I was going in to wire in my subs. Everything was fine, then I go to turn the car over, and nothing but a clicking noise.
It doesnt seem like starter clicking, its something else inside the dash. It starts clicking when the key is put in the on position. It only stops when I'm trying to turn the car over, but nothing happens when I turned the key over, just that the clicking sound stops.
Check out my vid of what's happening please. Any ideas?

Verify you didn't blow any of the main fuses, common when you are playing with wiring. It seems as if you possibly tapped into something wrong somewhere, if it where me I would remove everything wiring wise you installed and see what happens, just my $0.02.

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately I checked all of the fuses, and relays, and removed all wiring. Its still doing the same thing. Also, I tapped on the starter and solenoid without luck. And I replaced the battery just to make sure. Any other ideas?

Are you getting power to the starter? Did you knock the netural/safety switch out of place if you are running one?

its not the starter if its making the clicking noise when the car is on the on position there shouldnt be any power going to the starter when its in that position. a easy way to find out where the noise is, is to get your 14mm socket and pull the driver seat out and lay down and pin point the noise take a picture if you dont know what the item making the noise is and post it here. also pull out your muti meter and test each relay its almost impossible to look at a relay and tell if its blown. its not a fuse that you can just look at and see if the bridge burned up. gl with that man keep us update. i hope next time you disconnect your battery before you wire ANYTHING because without you telling us its safe to assume you didnt....

just noticed that you posted a video. that looks like the actuator for your ac. make sure there is no wires that are freyed or raw touching eachother. i would definantly take another look at your fuse blocks. did you sauder anything together? is the car all stock? is there any aftermarket wiring in there? (alarm, safc, gauges ect) do all your lights turn on no problem? have to tested the other battery for 12v?
