Almost sounds like a Fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump issue. I think the FPR has been an issue on some of the Versa's.

It won't start but cranks, or it doesn't have power when you turn the key? If there's no power but the battery is OK, try cleaning your terminals.

It sounds like something along the lines of Steed's reply. Fuel Pressure Regulator, or something fuel related.

Nissan issued a techinical service bulletin (TSB) about this problem. Have a local dealer look it up and it will guide them to replace the fuel pressure regulator.

The problem affected a number of Versas for over three model years.
