Hi I have a 91' SE. I just finished swapping my NEO RB25. Before I could get the car to start the instrument cluster light and the electric fans would stay on with the key out. Now I have the motor starting and running but, now, it stays on with the key out.

When I originally bought the car as a shell it was almost completley bare, half of the chassis harness was gone. Sonce then Ive located and installed the rest of the chassis harness. I bought the motor already prewired for an s13 from a member on zilvia.net. I really dont know want to have to uplug everthying and ship it back. Im hoping its something small and stupid. Any guys out there ever had this kind of problem?

Ive already messed with the ignition to see if thats what was causing it and its not that. Ive pulled the dash harness to see of anything would happen and nothing happend. I think im gonna pull the lower engine harness to see if that will turn something off, then i can source the problems better i think.

When i did my swap. I think there is a 2 pin plug in the front passenger engine bay that has to be plugged in to allow the car to turn off. I believe they are really fat wires. I dont know what they go to but my car did the same thing and then i realized i left a couple connections in that area apart

i was just trouble shooting one day and had my electric fans running off my fuel pump key on power source, anyways i went to shut the car off and the key did nothing! i removed the key and car was still running! i scrached my head for a sec, and walked over and removed my electric fan power wire and the car died lol so maybe it could be similar idk

Yeah either your ignition switch is bad or there is constant power where switche dpower should be.

get one of those voltage testers....current testers...whatever they are called. and start testing all the wires, starting with the ignition wires first. this way u can find where the live current is...
