So i have been driving my KA-T since july and now my car wont start. I parked it in a garage and had to get it towed. The engine is turning over and ocassionaly will begin to start up (the engine makes noise and the revs go up to about 200) and then it just dies again. I have tried giving it gas but it wont help. I thought it might be the engine flooding so i left the spark plug wires off for almost 3 days and tried it again. same problem. im thinking maybe if the engine flooded it could have messed up the spark plugs and i might need new ones? im hoping thats all it is. i have to check that tomorrow when i have more time. you guys ever deal with something like this? the engine bay did smell like fuel so i thought the flooding was a good thought. that and the system is REAL rich. they couldnt get the support tool for my emanage to link up or some crap so they just tuned it off the 5 points on the emanage. i know that sucks! i cant do anything about that right now.

by the way if anyone is in IN and knows how to tune the emanage and wants to help me out that would be AMAZING! thanks guys

Hey whats up man? i didnt know you got your kat done. im coming up to Purdue this weekend, i would love to see it. i wish i knew more about the emanage so i could help you. but yea you may have flooded your engine. btw, removing the plug wires wont do anything, you need to remove the plugs and either buy new ones or clean the old ones off. check them, if they are black and wet then you are probably just running real rich. i know this happened to me here recently, i flooded my kat and it was barely running. i had to drive it for 5 minutes to clear it all out. but let me know where you will be this weekend. im staying at my friends house. hes having a big party for his 21 birthday.

unplug the injector clips and the plug wires then turn over the engine. this way no more fuel will be injected and it will just be pushed out the exhuast

Try a fresh set of spark plugs. Also check your emanage wiring. I am not in IN but not too far away. We have a dyno and a wide band and emanage support tool here if your ever interested in getting it tuned. We have tuned several KA-Ts on emanage.

check your Intercooler piping also, maybe a pipe came off.I know this happend to me before, my car would start but immidiately shut off.If you car smells like fuel, then also check around your injectors to see if fuel is leaking maybe one of the injectors o-rings got messed up...doubt it if it was fine, but worth a try.
