car wont start

okay heres the deal, my car wont start unless jumped, it was working fine a few days ago, when i put the brake lights on my hud lights and front lights go dimmer by a noticable amount.

any ideas on what it could be? oh and after the lights go really dim my antilock light comes on.

you battery sucks or your alternator sucks.

get your batter checked then if thats not the problem get your alternator checked.

ok, anybody have any ideas on anything? i just dont want to waste time when it could be something simple

I have the same issue...either your battery is done for or your alternator is done for, from the way you are describing the issue

A loose ground can cause all sorts of electrical problems. So dont count it out..
