Before yall yell at me I have searched and searched. Ihave a 89 240sx swaped to ka24de. I jumped started it and it worked let it warm up the turned it off. Checked for leaks nothing next day jump started it again and drove it down the block and back. Ran fine but the clutch didnt catch untill the pedel was 3\4 of the way up. Jacked it up adjusted the clutch went to start it and nothing. It wont even turn over. So I take the starter off go get it tested and it passes everything. Put it back on plus new neg and pos cables, and new battary and still nothing. When I turn it I get nothing then when I turn it back off i hear a clicking noise in passanger side in the engine bay. So I replace the 2 big green fuses in the fuse box and still nothing. I also checked the rubber part on the clutch that pusses down that button and its on there. So im so lost I dont have anymore ideas please help. Thanks

Sounds like your clutch interlock relay. It is located under the hood on the passenger side. I think it's blue (I have auto). It is energized when you press down the clutch and allows 12vdc to pass to the solenoid coil and prevents you from starting your car with the clutch engaged.

No I switch that out and the button by the clutch. But I fixed it who ever had the car before me dont know how to do wiring for a car stereo. They cut the on wire and twisted up the power wire for the cd player and thats it didnt use a butt connecter, soder or nothing. And over time it just came off. But thanks.

Rubber may be there but make sure the button is being depressed. If you have to you can bypass the switch by wiring it togather. Did you try push starting the car? Get a couple of friends and try this. This way you can bypass the starting system. If it starts this way go back to the starting system because thats where the problem lies. Clicking noise?, can you describe?..

Check the wire under the stearing wheel. Its the one that when you turn you car to the on postion. Alot of people hook up there power wire for this wire and the could of did a bad job like they did on mine and could have came off.
