Ok, hopefully, I'll be able to give ya little help on finding out what your prob may be. Tools you'll need will be some 10ga wire (to jump with) and a multimeter (a meter that'll measure atleast DC volts, amperes, and ohms). You may need additional tools to get you to certain places to check your components, but that's up to you to figure out what. Here we go:Try jumping the solenoid (Battery terminal to Solenoid terminal) and see if that jumps the starter. If not, then jump from the B terminal to the Motor (actual starter) terminal. If that works then you've got a bad solenoid. If still nothing then you know you've got a bad starter. If its either one that is bad, you'll have to replace the unit as a whole. If it works jumping the Solenoid terminal from the Battery terminal, then the problem is somewhere in your key ignition circuit. I see in your sig that you no longer have your S13 but still have the crx, so I'm guessing that your having a problem with the crx. I don't know exactly what is in your key ignition circuit, but I do know that you're going to have a switch, fuse, park/neutral safety or clutch safety switch, and all the wiring inbetween that could go bad. To check the switch, use a voltmeter and tap into the sending wire and turn the key. To check the fuse, use an ohmeter to check for continuity (visual test does not always work). To check the safety switch, tap into the line and check for voltage after using the switch, and the wiring use an ohmeter for continuity. This should cover the basics on diagnosing the electronical problems with starting your car. Like I said, those are the basic components, and you may have additional components that you will need to test. Just check your FSM/Haynes/Chilton to see what else is involved. If you don't have one, I highly suggest that you invest in one.Apperantly if you can push start it, you have fuel, spark (after starting), and mechanical. Hope this helps.
