Have you tried the other key? If both keys won't start the engine, then you have a problem with the NATS (Nissan Anti Theft System)/Immobilizer. Unfortunately, reprogramming of the ECM can only be done at the dealership (@ $100) and you have to bring both keys/remote controls.

You can try disconnecting the battery overnight and then re-start the car. No harm in trying.

it also could be the engine control fuse. i blew that in my car and it wouldnt start. i changed it out, and it wouldnt start but thats because i left my key in the ignition and it wouldnt read the chip, so take your key out and change the fuse and it should start right up.
