Ok im sure this isnt a repost because ive searched and havent found anything considering this is a rare condition. the battery is brand new, theres a new starter and yet it still doesnt start rite away somtimes it takes a 1/2 hour to finally get that one turn that makes it work. so here it is i put the key in and if im lucky the car starts and goes first time, but usually i turn and nothing, no clicking no nothing just turning the key, it may take two to three turns, now i was told to turn the key to the on position just before the actually start notch, and leave it there to allow the fuel pump to pump fuel to the engine, that strategy works, but if i leave the car overnite and follow all the tips ive been given it still may not start until i turn the key 100+ times, anyone have ANY idea wat is goin on here?

check the connections to the IACV. it helps cold starting. not sure if that is the problem because a car will still start without the IACV. make sure everything is grounded in the engine bay. Is there any corrosion on the battery cables? have some one crank the engine over and tap on the starter with a hammer or what ever you can get at it with. good luck. When was the last time you changed your cap and rotor? are you sure you are getting fuel at the plugs? are they wet? just go through one thing at a time and eliminate any possible thing that will cause a no start problem.

I had the exact same problem, turn the key and nothing, kinda scary. For me it was the green relay by the battery. I think its called the interlock relay. It was 18 at Autozone. Try that, I hope it works for ya.

When you turn the key ON do you hear the fuel pump "prime"?

Does the engine turn at all

Could be the fuel pump relay/pump itself.Try this to discard the IAVCWhen cranking, press slightly the accelerator pedal. It should start and die after you remove the foot from the pedal.

well the car should still start up you just wont have any dash lights, head lights, clock, cd player... basically everything will be dead under your dash. charge your battery up and soldier that fuse back together (i did and it worked fine) and see if it pops again.....

are you sure your ECU is working correctly? get any codes off the ECU?

well i just checked this shopkey system that shows that there are litterally about 148 things that could be wrong with the car if it wont start, so im gonna have to rule out what i know isnt a factor and go from there, this is soo much fun
