hey guys.i just went to the post office to drop some stuff off and i been there about 20-30 mins and the car wouldnt start..
i have searched, but none seem to explain why my car is still running when i take the fuel pump fuse out... consistently at 1500 rpm.
the thing is.. i've had this problem a couple times already, but it only does it when its hot..could it be that my fuel pump is bad?.. (doesnt explain how it starts withOUT the fuse for the pump though..)
also when the car is running by no fuel pump, and i disconnect the TPS, the car just dies and doesnt want to start..same with the fuse.. if i plug it back in, it wont start for some reason.
i've got new plug wires, but i've been putting off the plugs and o2 sensor, however they seemed fine because i've been driving on them for the past month or two.. and its starting problems when the car is hot..
also, my distributor was a bit hot. (is that normal?)i guess all the heat in the engine bay didnt get to escape..?
please let me know what i can do to fix this!thanks!
