hey guys
as most of you know i turbo charged my d21
as of yesterday i put a safc in it to pull fuel and tune it with
before i put the safc in the car it ran really rich but it ran and everything was ok. after i wired up the safc the car wont start it will crank and crank for days on but wont start i had a few friends comes check it out to see if they knew. but still nothing i undid all the wiring from the safc and put everything back to the way it was before i touched anything. and still the same things it cranks but wont start. so i rewired the safc and gave it another shot and went through everything to check if i missed anything and it still wont start. i ran the codes on it and the only code that came back was 41 which is the iat sensor which i have disconnected for the time being but it ran fine with out that so i erased the memory and still the car would not start. we tried to push start it and still nothing. the battery is good has a strong crank it but the car just wont start. im going to go out and check it one last time again tomorrow and if i cant get it to start ima take it to the shop and see whats up.
so if anyone has any ideas or knows whats happening let me know asap
and btw i just changed the head gasket the day before all this and the car ran fine and i didnt push it or anything

When you had the car "running fine" was the IAT sensor removed? Why? The motor needs ALL of the those sensors. IAT plays a large roll in fuel and timing maps.

With that said, there are 2 ground wires on the SAFC that need to be done correctly, not to mention the settings that have to be correct. Post up what you have for all the settings, to include the + - fuel scale.

fouled plugs? i had a similar issue with mine, it was rich it started up, ran crappy tho, and then it wont start at all. changed the plugs, and it started running, had to adjust everything like idle, timing and ran like a champ. till driver abuse and neglect killed number 4 piston.
back to the drawing board...

yes when the car was running the iat was off because i cant connect it at the moment seeing its the truck intake manifold im using once i removed the air filter box i had no where to put the sensor.
the settings im not sure what they are at i had my friend set it up for me cause he knows how to mess with the safc
the fuel scale is at +-0 all across the board

it maybe the plugs but i dont think thats it i changed them about 2 weeks ago
from the feedback everyone is giving me im left to think that its getting no spark to the plugs but idk why it wouldnt be because it was running fine before

SAFC or not, generally it comes down to air, fuel and spark. Start with making sure these basic elements are there. Presumably, one of the three are an issue (air would actually be the MAF since it will draw in air regardless of fuel and spark so long as the engine turns over). Checking for fuel will likely be easy. If the engine won't start, if you pull your plugs immediately aftyer trying, you will see and smell fuel on the plug tip. For checking for spark, I usually just hooked up my timing light and aimed it at the underside of the hood. If the light blinks, you are getting a current, and therefore spark. Also consider if it seems to be affecting all the cylinders or not. If its not trying to start at all, there is a good chance its a centralized problem. Make sure you check fuses. Generally, fuel injection wiring is constant positive to the injectors and the ECU will provide a ground to open the injector. A bad fuse or relay will prevent the injectors from receiving the +12 volt signal. You can test for the signal by turning the key to on position and testing the connectors at the injectors.
