So here's the deal. I just put a new battery, ignition relay, and starter in my 90 TTZ. The battery has been disconnected for a while and now the car won't start. If you put a jump box on the starter ends, the starter turns. The cable from the battery produces the right volts need to engage the starter. But the car still wont start.

I've heard that these cars have an intrique security system that when the battery is disconnected for a period of time, the car wont start until I believe you go outside and unlock the doors if I am correct. Iv'e tried this and had no success. Also could someone tell me if when you are in the car, should the security light still be flasing on the dash or not. I need all of your guys help with this issue. If anyone can guide me on where to go from here, I would appreciate it so much.

thanks

The starter turns but does it actually engage? If the gears aren't popping out then the starter is probably having issues (just because it's new doesn't mean it is infallible). Same deal with the ignition relay. I would get both of those tested.

As for the security light flashing it should stop flashing only when you close the door on the car I think.

When you turn the key, you hear the relay click but nothing happens, the starter doesnt turn or even make a sound.
