car wont start !!! HELP !!

alright im on the way home on the highway and the car just dies !!! no power , i luckily make it to the side of the highway and i pop hood and check it all out nothing looks bad try to crank it and nothing ! get it home on flat bed !

well now i think its the alternator had it tested and it was still good ! put it back in with new battery and nothin ! car doesnt start at all ! the only power i get is to the lights and electric fan ...the alarm , gauge cluster, dont come on

so what do i do ??what could it be !!!! ????

duuude, go to the fusebox by the battery and check that big gray fuse.. betcha it's blown!!!!!!!!

car is not cranking at all? check the fuse and then do a compression test

I have a very similar issue as of yesterday. Went into the store to buy smokes, came out and tried to start. Cranked over really slow, and the second time I tried to start it, there was nothing. Didn't even hear the starter solenoid click, or my fuel pump turn on. Assumed it was my battery/alt, but when I tried to jump it with my xterra, nothing at all. Checked the battery with a multi-meter, and it reads a full 12.6v??? Gonna try to figure it out this evening, time permitting.

im pretty sure its the alt fuse is blown. Check that out. Good luck

When you crank it do the headlights dim at all?
