Hey fellow nico members.. I hope one of you guys can help me out with this problem im having..

So my single cammer doesnt want to turn on, as the topic already says. I will give as much background detail as i can possibly give

in september of last year (2010) my parents took away my baby from me for whatever reason. it has since been sitting in the end of my driveway. i have since then let it sit there turning her on occasionally, to keep her running. my birthday is coming up and theyre giving me the title to the car (yay! free s13) the last time that i had her running was around the begining of the year. when it did run, it sounded like a muscle car. in other words it sounded like it was running on three pistons. i decided, heck even though im not getting the car anytime soon i would still like it to be running good, so i changed spark plug, and indeed one was fouled. since it was cold when i did this, the spark plug wires (2) got messed up, so i replaced those as well. i had lifetime warranty on these wires, so i had to take them alllll off the dizzy cap. when i put them all back on, it wouldnt start, so i gave up months ago.

now heres its state as of now:

fuel pump primes ( i checked it before and after fuel filter)
tried starter fluid
distributor cap is 180* off according to every diagram ive seen (i own a chiltons and have 4G on my phone). i noticed this today, and its been like this ever since
i have not put in fresh gas in over 4 months (maybe the problem? idk)
ive quadruple checked the spark plug wires in its correct location many many times, even tried different ways.

oh and a week before i got it taken away i did a new oil change myself with new filter obv.

so my questions are of two:
what can be the cause of my car not starting?
i know as soon as she turns on she will get an oil change, but do i have to get a new filter as well?

if this is any help, my keys are currently playing hide and seek with me, so i have to hotwire my own vehicle. the wires i am connecting are the 12v constant and starter wire, which is only 1 of 5 there. do i have to connect it to two wires? like starter and acc. or starter and ign? i tried starter and ign and it just doesnt work.

any help pleaasee!!! thank you nicomembers!! i will upload a video of it when it was running before and now while i try turning her on.

Itts obvious that the problem lies in your firing order since it ran before you messed with your wires. Did you remove the dizzy for any reason? Also don't Jimmy rig your Ignition ....do it right. There is a way to wire everything up but I wont even go there because I think. Its bad advice and total hack job. Status.

I had this problem with my KA, the firing order was wrong.

yes, the car cranks. remember that i am close to E on gas and i have not started the car up in more than 3 months. would adding fresh gas( about 3 gallons) be sufficient to help?

It can help,
running the car on a low gas tank can sometimes suck up things at the bottom of the gas tank.

thanks guys! i put 2 gallons of gas in it (idk if it helped or not)

it WAS the firing order,, i set it up so it fires the correct order and cranked it,, it wouldnt turn on till i rotated it a couple times, then it fired right up! it ran like crap (idling around 500) so i thought i should clean the maf, and lo and behold there were 2 wires that were ripped off from the maf :tisk: fixed that problem and car ran perfect! just like it did when i drove her every day. i guess that was my problem with her running rough before, not plugs.. but whatever i got new plugs and wires!!

now for that timing chain guide

should be in the streets next week! :mike OHH YEAAHH!!

thanks again guys for the help!!
