whats up my car wont boost past 10lbs i dunno whats going on it drive fine untill 10 lbs then it like stutters . car was boosting fine untill 20 lbs what do u guys think may be the problem . any info is appreshated thanks jon

what upgrades do you have, how long were you boostin @ 20

stockwastegate/bov?

you have either spun a bearing, or you are running too rich... I was running too rich today and I had the same problem, I have it set at 12~13lbs, and I was lucky to see 8lbs, till I leaned out the A/F mix a bit... going to the dyno tomorrow to make sure its right.

Also, check for boost leaks

its not a spun bearingif anything a boost leak well see tomm when i take all the boost lines apartit make be a vac line under the greddy intake for all i know

checked for boost leaks or bad vac lines doesnt look like it, im going to check my spark plugs cause i may have gotton some bad gas. i already changed my fuel filter yesterday . any more info is welcomed .

afr is off i would assume

and ive heard the profec series boost controllers a crap and cant hold a concistent reading for crap

i think i solve the problem i guess my battery died a few days ago so my boost controller resetits a greddy profec b the new one . so i guess i was over boosting . what do u guys think???????????

The profecs hold their boost more consistantly with a smoother ramp up than others.

Bad ebc settings can do a number of things so yeah I'd first try that instead of other things. post back with your results.

looks like in high setting was =reset to 85 percent i lowered it to 60 percent and car drives fine . is this normal for the boostcontroller setting to go blank when the battery dies ?? isnt there a memory in it??
