CAR WON'T START! Then does??!! Relay, battery, ignition, starter? Please HELP!!

So my car is a 92 q45. I do love these Q's. It wouldn't turn over two days ago. All the lights came on, no dimming when I tried to crank it, I jumped it, and it still wouldn't turn over at all. It wouldn't even try. The security light kept blinking and was catching my eye, not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I played around with the locks and after about 20 minutes, it just started. The next day it was fine, then today the same thing, it wouldn't start. I had someone say it was the starter, they could hear it "clicking" when I tried to turn it over. I felt it's still a security issue, but I'm not sure. I had it towed to my house, then the driver cranked it up to back it off, yep started up no problem! He said the starter is fine there is either an issue in the park "safety" switch/getting it in gear, or the ignition, maybe a relay. Any information or thoughts would be very helpful, thanks!!

I'vd read of others having the same issue related to the Parking Safety Switch. Do you hear the "click" when depressing the brake pedal to unlock the shifter (when it's not starting?)

I had it towed to my house.

Have you checked the starter relay? Most likely it's either that, the neutral switch, or the ignition switch.

Hope your car wasn't towed over 30 mph or a few hundred yards. The transmission can be damaged terminally. Always flatbed, never tow.
