I posted this http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=81831 at the CA section. Currently, it's still not starting. I've been going at this for almost three weeks whenever I had time trying to fix the damn problem. I'm just not getting any spark whatsoever. Currently, I've changed the ECCS relay in the engine bay fuse box near the battery last night and STILL no start. WTF?? Help...

No CEL comes on when I turn the key to "ON".

hmm, so the coil packs are getting power but there is no spark? possibly bad coil packs, although i dont see how they would all go bad at the same time...

the question is where is the signal? the signal should be coming out of the power transistor. do you have any signal at the coil packs? if yes then its a ground issue(yay). if no then we need to diag the ptu which i dont know the specs on.

*Update*

Good news:

There's spark! The new spark plugs I was using were cheap *** champion plugs. I put back the "old" NGK ones and there was spark. Weak spark, but spark nevertheless.

Bad news:

Car still won't start. My friend suggested it could be the timing. Didn't have a timing gun handy, so couldn't check that. Car is def. getting fuel and spark, but it's just not starting.

So....do you guys think it's the timing?

If you're talking about being able to rotate the CAS, I think so. There are three hex bolts that hold it in place. It seems that if you loosen the bolts, you can then rotate the CAS. I THINK.

I searched and read that stock timing is 15 before TDC. Got it from here: http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=81018

I don't know if that's true since no one verified it so I'll have to look it up to double check.

EDIT: Here: http://www.nissanperformancema...sarah/ it says 10 deg. BTDC for the DET (which I have) and 15 deg. BTDC for the DE. Crap...I'll just look at the FSM...

That's what one of the mechanics said. He said if one or two teeth are off, it won't start at all. I really hope that's the case.
