Car Won't Start?!

I was going to my car earlier this afternoon and saw somebody writing something on my deceased fathers truck that I am driving around til' I sell it. It is a 2000 Frontier XE King Cab KA24de. The dumb lady said I'm sorry but I hit your car. I said what and we walk around the entire car to see the damage when it was right under her nose.The whole left bumper is messed up and so is the side bumper. there is a huge hole in the side and it really upsets me b/c I'm trying to sell it and now some lady sideswiped it. I got her insurance policy #, DL #, license plate, car, and everything and name and # but I just left and saw her whole buick century messed up. I got some pictures onto a camera phone and was able take a good 3-4 shots of both cars.I had to go to work and now that I got off, I was looking for a place on the street to park. I drive around a block and make a uie. I put it in reverse then back into drive. Then all of a sudden the Gear lights dont light up.I drive down the st. for 1/2 block and see the tach not working. I put it in park and rev it, still no movement. I stop the engine and try to start it again, still no luck. IT WON'T START AND I HAD TO PUSH IT IN A SPOT IN MY CARPORT. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON W/MY TRUCKTHANX,Garrett

check your fuses see if any blew. check the ones in the car and under the hood. check to make sure your batery cables are tight. she could of jarred them loose in the impact. when you try to start it does it turn over and not start or does it not even crank the engine?

I checked the battery, its in good condition and all wired up. It really doesn't seem as if it wants to crank over. she was wearing a red bracelet and in her mid-50s so I think she just got out of the hospital. ill double check the fuses today.thanx
