Does the clicking change with RPMs?NOOB0690 wrote:Car started this morning and It's making a clicking noise. I'm going to check the fuel to start and I'll check the oil because I think the clicking might be the lifters. Correct me if I'm wrong
As I press the acclerator the clicking seems to get faster but not much louder. I added more oil, changed the spark plus, new battery and terminals. Also after I drive the car for awhile and I get to where I'm going, turn it off then try to restart it, it won' start then I wait some time and it starts right up. Not sure my but I think it might be a sensor.PoorManQ45 wrote:Does the clicking change with RPMs?NOOB0690 wrote:Car started this morning and It's making a clicking noise. Does it go away when the engine warms up?(if so, I'd change the oil and maybe run a cleaner through it)
The fact that you just bought this kind of concerns me. I'm thinking you'll need to do basic maintenance.
Change oil
Change air filter
spark plugs and wires
fuel filter
clean battery terminals
