Ok i'm getting all dashboard lights and when i turn to key to full start position, it clicks

Car is manual - There's not enough room to pop it in the parking lot, at the bottom of a hill

96' motor - i've vacuum locked the motor one time in 96' chassis in the exact same spot that the fuel gauge is in now, but in the 96' chassis

We replaced the starter

I've had this problem for a long time now. After the swap everything was fine until i started actually driving it. I put a amp wire on my positive terminal, to play a system

The car should be turning over.

The car did not die or sputter. It just won't crank after i parked it.

Fuses are good, battery is good.

A couple of things i'm thinking

The ignition(where i put the key in, someone fill in please) maybe bad, but the car should be turning over?

The clicky thing at the bottom of my clutch pedal is broke and making the starter not engage.

The starter is not engaging at all. And has been doing this for awhile, after i add my system...

Anyone have some insite? Maybe i vapor locked it, lol

sounds like a bad starter. the click is the starter relay clicking on, so your starter just isnt working. sometimes you can hit them with a wrench or something and it will start a few more times but thats about it.

The battery is fine.

We looked back over the car, and the plug that goes in the clutch pedal was missing that engages the button behind it

I think its been gone for a long time, and i've burnt the Clutch Relay out..

We are going to get a new Clutch Relay and have already replaced the plugn in the pedal

The chassis has 272k, and the last owner didn't care for it much and drove it into the dirt. Now i'm slowing replacing everything, and considering about putting it up on stands, and stripping the whole car, and rebuilding but its a hatch(altho they are starting to grow on me)

Anyways, So now it's in the yard and won't engage the starter. Relay won't be here till Tuesday
