Hi, welcome to the forums.

Please use better text formatting.

Next, explain your problem more.

Is it cranking?

Which wires were chopped? hoses? pictures may help.

When it died, did anything "blow up" or catch on fire? Or did it just sort of stop?

Is the battery reading 12v.

When you put your car into the On position, is there electricity, i.e. radio & lights on.

It would not be your timing chain unless you heard something "snap" like above, which shouldn't have to do anything w/ your wires being chopped.

Are you getting spark? Are the spark plug wires ok? the ignition coil okay?

etc etc.

If the wiring was fixed, then something probably was damaged (start up component) during the wire "chopping", check for spark,etc....a better description of your problems will probably help....

Need more info on what car you have.

The wiring you sliced up went to the MAF, AIV, AIT, coil, and possibly the hoses going to the AIV and carbon canister. Make sure everything really is back together properly. Note that your car may or may not have the AIT and AIV depending on what year it is. I can't think of any reason a component could have been damaged by the cutting of those wires, but it is possible that if any of them shorted together it could have damaged your ECU. If you have another ECU handy, you might try it.
