i drive an s13 obviously and yesterday i was driving towards my house and my car bogged when i gave it throttle and when i put in the clutch it died. so i've been brainstorming and testing **** for the past two days trying to figure it out but i need some fresh ideas

1.tried push start, would start but would bog even when wot. (sounds like maf issue)2.will turn the crank so you can mark off battery alternator and starter3.checked all plugs, they sparked4. took out fuel filter checked fuel hose, listened to pump prime, checked injectors and they're spitting. so it's not a fuel issue5.randomly decided to check and make sure the ecu was still connected and **** and that did nothing.

what it basically seems like is that there's no combustion. i have fuel and spark adn as far as i know air but it won't do anything. i turn the key it cranks and that's it. timing isn't the issue. this is just really stressing me out and i cna't figure it out.

someone mentioned doing a compression test but even if one cylinder had low compression you would still be able to start it. this jsut makes no sense and i need some fresh ideas on what to do.

if you can help or wanna come out and check out or we can just talk on the phone let me konw! also post up any ideas. i'm willing to try anything right now. calling me would be preferable because i'll be workin on it all day just testing stuff

thanks in advance guys!

On a turbo vehicle I would first check that there are no air leaks from the intercooler piping, make sure all piping connections are tight, no couplers have holes in them etc etc. Air leaks can cause the situation you described.

did you use a spark tester? cause using a regular spark plug and grounding it will have spark but not enough.

What is your setup? Check your spark plug wires? Perhaps there is one shorting out to the valve cover. Disconnect your mafs and the hot pipe so there is no restrictions to air, see if she starts. Checked your grounds?

I might be off but what about your cam sensor? I had to deal with a car that had a bad cam sensor and when it did start it ran really badly then stopped starting all together.
