Hey i have a wierd problem. I just put in a SR20DET in my fastback. The very first time the car started, but had a really bad idle or almost a misfire. I think i had a short the EGI pump relay was turning on and off. I think this was the problem of the wonky start. So checked the wires everything looks good. Had one wire touching another, but took care of that(I'll get pics up soon). Now i'm at a point that the fuel pump does not prime up when key is turned. The car will crank, but i think the fuel is not working at all. I've searched the only that i have found so far is that i should try the voltage and see if there is any at all. (Just to mention that the fuel pump use to prime up.) Now nothing. I don't know what i did wrong. I followed the wiring diagram from http://www.srswap.com. I'm really stuck can someone help me out. I want my car to start.

Thanks,Newbie.

P.S. If this is in the wrong section please could you move it to the proper one. Thanks.

did you check the fuel pump fuse? I know when I kept turning mine on and off it blew the fuse. Also, how long did it work the first time it started? Mine ran for about 15 seconds and then shut off, turns out I had the fuel lines backwards so check that too.

240_Keyy,

I checked the fuse its good. When we ran the car the first time the car would run, but really bad. It was like almost about too stall. I think if we're to let the car run it would stay running. I'll check the fuel lines to make sure they are in the right way. But do you know what could be up with the fuel pump not priming up anymore?

Thanks again,newbie.
