I put it back in try agains still nothing the fleewheel is turning and the car is turning over but stll she dosent start so I look towards fuel the pump is working and the motor is definitly getting fuel ok what now its getting air so I check my fueses alll good. Ok starting to get annoied so next we look towards ignition we pull out a spark plug and test to see if it sparks and it dosent ok so we replace the ingition coil and go to start hmm still no spark we change the wires and still no spark. What could be wroung its not getting a spark what needs to be done this poblem is on my 240sx convertible 5 speed let me know thxs

Did you test spark at the tip of the spark plug or where the plug wire hooks onto the spark plug? If you tested at spark plug try unhooking the plug wire and holding needle nose (with rubber handles) close to the plug wire...the spark should bridge the gap between the needlenose and the wire.

If you see a spark its most likely either bad plugs or wrong gap.

If no spark seen from testing the plug wire, it could be distributor cap and/or rotor.

Check those out and post your finding.

k this problem is simple for every swap that anyone does. with an automatic transmission notice how the car wont start if it isnt in neutral or in park, thats because of the neutral saftey switch thats in every car. if you take the auto transmission out there isnt a neutral so therefor your car wont start.... so what you need to do is cut the wire on the starter and wire it to a push button and wire the push button to the positive side of the battery. k then push the key in the on posistion then push the button and volia your car is now running......... let me know your results
