Have you checked the ecu for codes? o2 sensor or wiring could be a possibility.

Bad MAF/MAF plug could easily cause the problem.

everything was running fine before installed turbo. but right now im throwing codes 12 which is the airflow circuit, but i was messing around with that so im gonna disregard it, and 35, the egt circuit.

Did unplugging the MAF solve the idle problem?

Then I'd suspect that either your MAF is shot or the plug is.

You could check the plug and connection first, to make sure the problem isn't in there. I can't remember if SOHC and DOHC MAF's are interchangeable, but I have a good SOHC MAF laying around.

i dont know....i think my maf is fine because it worked perfectly before i installed the turbo. on my afc i see the airflow meter bouncing between like 1.5 and 2.5 percent in sync with my idle.

I'm really not sure what to tell ya man, so I'm going to move this over to the ka-t forum and see if the regulars there can help you out.

swap out your mafs with david's or someone else's to see if it will hold idle. and no, iirc dohc and sohc's are not interchageable

Critical info!!! Before we throw ideas at this problem any longer, put some real plugs in it. Bosch plugs will screw with a motor like nothing else.

NGKs are the factory oem plug for Nissan engines. Just go to the parts store and give them the year make model etc and tell them you want NGK.
