Couldnt have come at a worse time....considering I need RUCAs...*sigh*SmithSR wrote:Sounds like a separated tire.. the lump is indeed coming up.
Thanks...I took a pic of where I think the problem may be/arise. An elevated lump in a straight line going across the width of the tire in the tread, although visibly it doesnt seem to elevate/lump up the tire's surface:SmithSR wrote:Yeah those sizes work well..
hmm...anyway to spot a seperation?SmithSR wrote:That seems to be the treadwear indicator, not a separation.
Tried it, didnt find anythingExar-Kun wrote:Run your hand (CAREFULLY!) along the tires tread surface, you will be able to feel a distortion (either a lump and shift in the tread) on the tire fairly quickly...

How would that cause a wobble though? I know my engine mounts are shot, you can move my engine with enough force.gogg wrote:I've had a wobble thats lasted through multiple tires and alignments, i think its my engine/transmission mount though, just a thought.
I have one nismo mount and one shot stocker, therefore its unbalenced. (yes this is ghetto, but i was in a hurry to swap my engine in and i have plans of getting all new mounts)Neejay wrote:How would that cause a wobble though? I cant do that because I have 205/60 in the rear, and 205/55 in the front.Ceptos wrote:rotate them just to see if it changes. switch your rear to front and vise versa and take it for a spin and see if it changes the feel of the wobble.
