Car will not start. Please help!!

I have recently had trouble getting my 1995 240sx to do anything electically. I can't start it, turning the key to the on position doesn't turn anything on, and any time it does turn on say...the clock' if i push anything that requires an electrical load it will reset the clock and basically kill the whole system.

I have tried getting a brand new battery from advanced auto and that does the exact same thing.

if anyone has suggestions, please help

Check your fuses and fuselinks. Fuselinks can be bad and look ok so you need to check with multimeter or substitute fuselink from somewhere else.
