I had the same problem in my M56. No-start with partially drained battery (after playing with audio fora while in ACC mode). I had enough battery for lights, but not for starting. Rapid clicks from starter relay instead. Boost failed, so did a plug-in battery charger. All I got was "Warning: Key system". THis means key fob was not recognized. Awk! But overnight, the battery died 100% the rest of the way. Totally dead, no LED lights, even. Then a jump-start did work. Yay! It's been fine ever since.
Next time, I'll try to disconnect the battery before I jump-start. Maybe it'll help? That's known as a "cold" boot, in computer geek terminology.
Infiniti dealership looked at it a week later, and found nothing wrong. Of course. I don't know if they tried to drain the battery. They said my battery, alternator, and key-fob batteries all tested OK.
To me, this is a wireless communication error. Much like my laptop cannot talk to my home wireless router if the laptop battery is low. Perhaps it's the same thing? These little wireless "radios" are fussy? And they might need to be rebooted, just like Microsoft Windows? Grrr.
