for some reason my car will not come upto temp, i recently replaced the thermostat & flushed the rad, as well as put a new rad cap on there, none of this seemed to help, it takes bout 15 min of "slightly agressive" driving to make the car blow luke warm air, and it's not just something with the heater core as the engine temp stays down the whole time too

When you say that your engine temp stays down, exactly what does your gauge read?

fan clutch gone bad?? just guessing but if it stays spinning while the engine is running then it'll take a while for the temp to come up.

or mebbe the new tstat is stuck open... remove it, "exercise" the spring valve/ get a free replacement under warranty w/ receipt...

or mebbe there's an air pocket where the gauge sensor's location... feel your upper hose & if it's "hot" after some idling, but the gauge still reads cold... try burping the system again...

thats a few things to start checking if the problem came up after the replacement job

but if your sure its not the gauge then it must be the thermostat, afterall they are made in china and can be faulty out of the box, or it could be in upside down

:thinkerCould be thermostat heat sencor. You need to know the specified resistance to compair the two with a multimeter.
