ok I searched ALOT.... its a ka24de~t all was fine till I got a jump the other day, after that it would not rev past 4000 rpms, it will if you 10% throttle past yes ten.

I read about bad maf but mine is good, its a draw threw, at about 7psi(5psi intake pressure after the 2ish drop from the IC)

any ideas?

try unplugging the maf... and then rev it... you should only be able to hit 2500... so it the maf was bad it wouldnt hit 4000... cuz when they go bad the magic number is 2500... but try cleaning it... see if that helps

How's your electrical? Everything running fine other than the revs?

When my alternator was getting ready to die/die I couldn't rev past 4rpms.

hmm...the starting problem makes me think its really the alternator.

But off that, i asked in ur other thread but you never answered, are you running anything for tuning? Bigger injectors? still stock fuel pump?

its tuned using a stanza ecu and sohc ka maf, the fuel pump is a walbro, and the base fuel pressure is at 58.9 psi..
from that threadit was running so amazing then I got a jump and it died kinda, the tuen was damn near perfect, and I did it blind for the most part, a few areas needed more fuel, but it was fvckin on, had well over 200 miles on it. I did find a wire getting I believe it to bet to the maf, so I may have fuct the ecu, or maf but my other one was blown.... junk yard in the morning.. ghey any more ideas nico I know if its common you guys know...

Im having a very similar problem (pretty much the exact same problem). If come to a dead end, not sure what could be my issue.

This thread is 7 years old, and the OP hasn't regularly posted in 2 years. I would consider checking your MAF if you have a multimeter. The factory service manual has all the voltage readings to verify correct operation.
