Hmmmm, let's see. Both white, both expensive, both high-maintenance and expensive to keep happy. Both fun as hell to drive hard, and both attract envious glances everywhere we go.

Fortunately, my wife has a FAR smaller a$$ than Quella. :D

Great topic. I can think of a few similarities. Both are very fun to ride, both squeel when driven hard (ahem). Both are expensive to maintain, and can be difficult, frustrating, and costly when misbehaving. Both can be taken to the movies and are fun to be seen with. Both can take awhile to warm up, but both can warm you up pretty quickly. Both also look great when wet, and most men prefer them both without bras.

On the car side. You can ignore a car and it won't mind. You can have more than one car and it won't be jealous. You can turn it on with just a key. The car can handle extra baggage without complaint, and looks good even with extra weight.Cars have just one set of shoes and will wear them years until you decide to get another set. Cars won't talk back to you even if you insult it them.

But, you know, as soon as you meet the right girl, the car loses much of its importance. Happened to me many years ago and is still true. Wife wins over the 240sx. Not even remotely close. Sorry.

Some more car points are popping into head: Oh, cars love "gas" and don't mind the smell. Women generally do not. Cars never complain if you shift gears or move too quickly. Cars do exactly what you tell them and follow directions....I'm glad my wife doen't read this stuff....

Nah, I'm not worried at all if she read it. She knows me well as we've been married for many years. But IMO, guys that choose a car over a woman are either kids or they haven't met the right woman yet. Simple as that. This was a fun topic.

Both are temperamental, but overall have treated me pretty well. I've spent quite a bit of money on both and had a pretty decent return. I never would have dreamed that either one would want anything to do with me. Most of the time it's easier to get the car turned on than the girl, however, pokin either one in the tailpipe is liable to get me a trip to the emergency room.

-neither tells you there's something wrong until it's too late and a chain reaction of havoc occurs.-no matter how much money you put into either, eventually they both show their age.-neither one ever needs extra lubrication during a hard run.

Very amusing thread.

Your wife wins over a 240? Well there you go. It's a much closer call if you own an Infiniti. ;)

(Jeeze, I hope the trouble and strife doesn't read this! )

Okay, one more from me. Waxing either can be a painful experience but the results are always smooth to the touch and nice to look at.

So if she puts up with you don't complain when she cost's you out the a$$. But this is coming from sombody who is broke and single (see the corlation)......

That's a lot of similarities, but one difference is that my car responds when I put my foot down. My girl just looks at me like I've lost my mind.
