ok well i recently changed the water pump because it was leaking so i got a new water pump from a 88' Nissan Pulsar NX SE and installed that then drove the car from tampa to orlando about 2hr trip and it was fine no problems.

well today i drove the car only about 15mins or so after it was warmed up and i start to hear a hissing and then some steam coming out of the engine bay, so i check it out and it was just blowing hardcore out from under the throttle body but it was too hot for me to get a real close look and already dark, but my temp gauge inside didnt say the car was over heating so i'm not really sure whats going on. i was thinking maybe one of the water lines or something is cracked idk any suggestions as to what i should check first?? thanks

probably one of those dumb tb coolant lines or something. if it is in fact blowing "hardcore" you shouldnt have trouble finding where its coming from.

yeah, you probably just split one of the TB hoses, when the hose ruptures, it'll spray coolant because of the heat/pressure. just check the 2 hoses there.

wouldnt it make sense to just pull the line that is broken and bring it with you.... then you know length and width

Or just block of the throttle body coolant lines altogether. Its FL man... I blocked mine off and don't have any issues with the TB icing up.

haha yeah yeah i know figured someone would say that sooner or later im just lazy. and hows your car working out have it running good now?

but hmm yeah didnt think of just blocking them off and you said that hasn't caused you any problems? i might just do that for now and then just go ahead and switch all my worn out coolant hoses all at once when im not to busy
