Car was having hard starts now...

Car was having hard starts now nothing, I was half thinking it was the battery, but that wouldn't make sence since theres nothing draining it and it was on a trickle charger all winter. This week, no starts at all, just a click that you can feel in the clutch. That got me remembering about a thread that said it could be the acrylic pad on the clutch switch, so I tried to start the car without the clutch, same click.
Is it just the switch? and is it worth getting a new one or should I just bypass it?

put a jumper across the switch for now and see what it does. You can get that switch from almost any 90's Nissan at a junk yard.
