So me being the gullible being that i am, believe that SPEED was going to produce a worthwhile show........I was wrong. Now, i'm no expert t.v critic, but i know a good car show from a terrible one. If any of you all even bothered to watch this show like i did, can you please tell me what they did to the cars besides "PIMP MY RIDE" them? i caught the show about 5 minutes late, but what i saw was them basically taking an engine that was already built, fit it into a car, argue about designs, do interior, paint it, do horrible tests, and pick a winner.

Yep. It stunk. WIll not waste the time next week. The show after it, Car Science, is a good bit more watchable.

I saw commercials for it and was hoping that it would be good. I still want to catch an episode before I pass judgement. What time does it come on?

All those stupid "reality" shows suck.

Pickers, Pawn Stars, American Chopper... ALL idiotic scripted drama for lazy men who really want to watch soap operas.

Agreed, though I actually like Pawn Stars for the discussion of oddball items. And the Old Man reminds me of my old Physics professor.

But fishing, trucking, car "pimping," bike building, and all other reality shows can gargle my sack.
