car wants to turn off

i recently replaced my alternator due to electricity problems. It did the job for about 2 months I'd say probably less. Now its acting back up again. Car hesitates and wants to die when i switch on headlights and when i high beam. i can't even listen to music no more cause i'm afraid the car might just shut off. I already checked the new alternator that i installed, still works when i unplug the Positive battery terminal. anyways, anybody got any ideas or suggestions...?

The batt. may be bad. Auto parts stores can check it for volts, amps, and bad cells.

i got my battery checked out, it was still good. i've been told that it could be the alternator could have went bad itself.

It is possible to buy a new alt. that is bad or weak. It should be warrantied by the place you bought it from, but it still sucks that you have to do all the work again. If you had the work done at a shop, they will warranty the alt. but again, they usually do not cover labor for warrantied replacements.
