Last year, I bought a 07 Nissan Altima Sedan 2.5S 6spd.After 3month, my car had defect on the transmission.1st gear and 6th gear did not come through the Neutral. So they got me a new transmission.

after when I got my new transmission, car vibrate when I stepped on the brake pedal.

Jan 8, I went to the dealer to find out what was the problem. They drove my car about 12miles, They couldn't find any problem. But they gave me a new key...lol

Also, sales told me there will be a another recall.when you start the engine, you are going to hear a click sound from the front hood. but, when they have no clue when, they are going to sendus a letter to us.

anyway, Im thinking about to going back to dealer one more time.If they can't find what the problem is...

what should I do?

Do I need to get a law to sue them?

I've searched about making a vibrate, my MAF sensor is not correctly fit?

i hate dealers....warentee is useless...cause when u have warrentee, they say its "normal", when ur warentee is over, they say u have a "big" problem

Most likely if its in the brake pedal its gonna be in the rotors or bearings. A Warped Rotor would give you that affect to the letter. If you have ever slammed on your brakes real hard out of no where. Maybe a 60-0 stop with hitting your brake pedal to the floor suddenly?

Sounds like they either dropped and bent a brake rotor OR they contaminated such with grease or oil.

I agree with adidas. I had the same problem with my 97 integra and it turned out to be the rotors for sure!

Difenately sounds like a brake rotor. Now if you hear a loud weird humming or grinding noise, that would be your wheel bearing. BUt form what you describe, it definatley sounds like a warped rotor. Just upgrade to a drilled and slotted one with ceramic brakes. You'll be better off

That's a bit expensive.. no? And I'm pretty sure the warranty would cover that so why pay when you can have the stealership do it for free?

the click sound when you 1st give throttle in a gear after starting the ignition is your brake system testing. it only happens once every time after you start your car. i brought mine back in the second day i had it and the service guy said about half of the 07 08 buyers who weren't already informed by their salesperson came back in to ask the same question.

If this happens when the car is stationary it could also be a vacuum leak causing the engine to stumble... although that SHOULD throw a CEL.
