if you replace an injector, and you fail to replace (or even place) the orings on the bottom of the injector, you'll literally be just dumping fuel into the motor. so it is a common thing to happen after replacing an injector.
but, the fact that he said the plugs were hosed with fuel sounds like a common thing ot happen after you tr to start it for a while.
so i agree with spark on that. ive had the fuel dumping condition, and the other three cyls will fire, it'll just run very noticably rough. its not very likely, but the plugs could have become fouled so bad from trying to start that they couldnt.
Did you try starting the car with your foot to the floor? my car used to have a no start condition like this. Its always worth a shot to try:
go and pull the fuel pump fuse out. then crank the car adn start it. If the car didnt start before, it jsut mght start now, but not guarenteed. then it'll die, and try it again. then put the fuse back in and see if it fires up. sometimes you'll just flood it too bad, especially if you didnt replace those o-rings.
So once you look at ignition stuff, give this a whirl, i had this problem for almost a year, right before i entirely lost one of those lower o-rings
