car temp

i was wondering if my temp is at the 2nd line, does that mean my temp is pretty high?? well unsafe?

Second line from the top or bottom??? Mine runs just above the 2nd from the bottom. My Autometer temp gauge says it is about 160 at that point.

you don't mention a cooler in your sig, but you have a black top, det i'm assuming. Not that it's necessary; but it doesn't hurt.

stock sr rad w/ s14 fan. I know its not good enough, but im low on cash right now. i wanna make sure my car doesnt overheat. Thanks for the replies

You are fine for now. Over heating is when you are way above the third line. I suggest if you are really concerned about your temps. Get an after market gage that tells you the temp in degrees. I know some are cheap and some are exspensive. Just do a little research until you find one that you can afford and is reliable. Don't skimp when it comes to parts that monitor your temps or pressures for you. Autometer has been in the game for a long time. I only have them because Defi is damn exspensive. Good luck.
