Car suck holes @ 4000rpm

I have been having a problem with my engine lately when i roll hard on the throttle. when the revs get close to 4000rpm it seems to settle out power wise and bogg down untill i let off the pedal. When I am being easy on the throttle and just ease my pedal down everything seems fine and its doesnt loose power. Does anyone have any ideas as to when my problem could be?

Probably your knock sensor.
