Car Stumbles While Accelerating- Help

I have searched and searched everywhere. I have an 01 altima, and under normal acceleration the rpm's will like freeze every couple rpm's. I can't figure it out for the life of me. I had the transmission flushed, replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter and all that good stuff. I wonder if it could be the torque converter, but I don't know.

Freeze as in won't go any fast no matter how hard you mash the pedal? Then returns to normal shortly after?

I guess pause would be a better word. It pauses for half a second under normal acceleration. Under full throttle the rpm's go up as normal. I mean the pause is visible on the tach and you can feel it. I may have to try and record a vid of it.

It occasionally throws a code, but it's due to not having a front cat anymore(aftermarket header). I still have not figured it out. I'm wondering if its the tps.
