car stops running when i plug in the MAF sensor KA24DE

like the title says its a 95 engine in a 90 body with a 91 engine harness 91 dizzy and all other things to make it run like its a 91. now the car runs good with the mass air flow unplugged. when its plugged in it runs for like 10 seconds and then dies just like you turned off the key. we figured out when it dies it cuts the injector signal. anyone know whats going on? thanks

Lets cover the basics. Have you tried any other known working MAF sensors?ECU Codes?

check your voltage going to the maf. check for any wire breaks. clean the maf. change it out with another one.

Well we have tried a known good one. It does the same thing. This is a friends car so I'm not sure of the codes. I'll try to find out. I was hoping someone would have already had this problem. Oh well I'll report back with the codes
