Well one day it was doing it at idle pretty bad. I could feel the air come from exhaust at burst and sounded like a Honda with vtech killer cams. That was only after i drove it about 4 to 5 miles though. I just drove it to the store and it was fine until i got close i could feel it barely start to miss fire "its right down the street not even mile" it seems like the further i drive the worst it gets.

brake cleaner will work your gonna have to take it off kind of a pain in the *** its under the intake mani. dunno if you know what it is but its like a butterfly valve on your intake manifold i'm almost 100% sure it warms your car up with it open but if its dirty it like sticks open and will make your idle rough and high rpm will feel funny and sometimes even stall

I forgot to mention something pretty important. When i first turn the car on there is no miss fire at all its like there is nothing wrong with it.Then ill drive and if i didnt know better already i would think nothing was wrong with it at all. I just took it for a drive to auto zone and it did pretty well for normal driving. i was shifting at about 2600 to 3000 rpms every time and probably never went over 40 mph,but if i accelerate semi fast to like i dunno get in front of some one in traffic i can here it "miss fire" sounds like a Subaru. The first time i noticed this happen i pulled over and revved the engine up to see if i could here it it wouldnt realy do it when at stop "still notice able though" but, i drove it down the street and after revving it the the problem got worse was very bad miss fire. Car seemed like it wonted to die. Then like i mentioned earlier this is when it started miss firing at idle, this was the only time it miss fired at idle.

Sorry for the long paragraph its just someone told me its not the IAC and was making sure there was no confusion here. Help appreciated need inspection sticker and dont think i can get that if i am miss firing ha,also just wont to feel the little power i have!

thats all i could think of too or my a fuel problem.I just went out and pulled the spark plugs and the one closest to the front bumber was the one that was miss firing not sure if thats # 1 or 4.I started it for first time today and it was miss firing thats when i pulled the plugs.I turned it on again it seemed like it was miss firing but it wasnt because i tryed puling spark plugs and and non of them were miss firing. Is my timing offf as well? this situation is really bothering me i can NOT figure out why its doing this ****.

I don't really know how to check alot of things but the wires seems perfect. I havent been able to take of the IACV to clean it but i don't think this is whats causing it.This all started after i jumped started my car is there something that could happin when push starting it that could cause a problem like this?

Still nothing car running like crap checked my timing check mass air flow censor. Found some baby cracks in some vacuum hoses but didnt seem like it would cause this.Any thing new would help.

long shot here . Try your catalyctic converter? Had a clogged one in a ford once . the hotter the engine got the worse it ran. mechanic even missed it.
